And this would lead to it not succeeding.
You probably know why, too- when the argument of “which gender does more nerd stuff” comes up, men are (or at least appear to be) the dominant gender. And we can’t have men lose something, right? That’d just be awful. So, those who subscribe to this idea will complain and rant and rave and suddenly, no more woman-hosted nerd show.
Unless these women put up one hell of a fight, or outright shut these boys down.

Maybe it would tank because some shithead asshole guys would decide they don’t want women “invading their space” or some bullshit like that.
Or maybe it would be great because, hey, LOOK IT’S SOMEONE OTHER THAN A DUDE TALKING ABOUT NERDY SHIT.
Maybe I’m just being completely naive, but I think it could work.
I will spearhead this project.
And it will be good.
I’m not against you here. I’d watch it- it’d be a nice freaking change to see a show that discusses nerd stuff, run by women.
The barriers are just so great, though, that you’d have to put in a helluva lot of work in order to get it off the ground- and even more to keep it going.
